Hi,I recently installed windows 8 on my computer. For some reason it started running slow and as I was reading online to see a solution for that, and this is when I encountered the System Refresh feature. It was suppose to give the system a 'touch up' and bring it back to its previous stage, only without the bugs and without deleting any of the files. It didnt delete any files, but it completely deleted all the pre installed software on my computer (with the exception of system 32 files.,). I have 1 or 2 software programs left from lenovo and intel, the rest is GONE.Upon completion of the system refresh, It simply gave me this list of deleted programs (see bellow).Help?!Thanks alot in advance. Do you guys know where it is? So that i can delete them and i can have a clean windows 8 the next time i refresh my laptop. After running a checkdisk and rebooting to repair files, Windows 10 now boots to a black screen with no mouse cursor. (Specifically, I restarted to perform a checkdisk, which completes to 100%, the screen goes black, and that's it. Rebooting runs the check again, then a black screen, or shows the normal Windows startup spinner, then a black screen. There is never a mouse cursor and the screen resolution is low. Restarting shows the startup failure assistance app every three reboots.) Also, the current build was fine.Resetting offers to either wipe the PC completely, or wipe all apps:Neither of these is an option if you want to retain your installed applications and data - in fact I'm not sure what the use is, why anyone would want to lose their apps. (I don't know if this refers to Windows Store apps or all applications. As noted above, I would like to reinstall, but keep existing installed applications, documents and settings.
